Purpose
The Nepal Heritage Society of Edmonton (NHS) is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the cultural legacy of Nepal while contributing to the richness of Edmonton’s multicultural fabric. We work to unite the Nepali community, foster meaningful cultural exchange, and ensure the enduring vitality of Nepal’s heritage within the Canadian mosaic.
Our commitment goes beyond preservation. NHS actively strives for socio-cultural sustainability by building respectful partnerships with Canadian Indigenous communities and engaging with diverse cultural groups across Edmonton. We carry out this mission through both physical and non-physical activities—ranging from cultural festivals, educational initiatives, and community outreach programs to knowledge-sharing platforms and collaborative projects—all offered on a non-profit basis.
Through these efforts, NHS provides inclusive spaces where individuals can connect, share experiences, and celebrate their cultural identities.
